The guy you let go

One day you are going to meet the guy who would eventually find out all your demons that dress like angels hiding in various chambers of your heart; your worst days; worst moments; worst mood and worst situations. But, you know that won't be worst at all, the worst part would be when you will let him go.


You will never be able to figure out how your tongue would taste in his mouth; your fragrance that you leave behind you in his empty room; the sound of your name through your voice; how much warmth do you exude when you hold his hand; how much he loves listening to you like it is his favorite song. You are never going to find it out because you would let him go.

But then someday if not so soon, your soul will make you realize that perhaps you have let him go but your heart did not. Perhaps somehow your heart captured the glimpse of him and kept it in its mind. Now that you feel free to go and to meet as many men as you feel like, your heart will attempt to find him or his aura in each of the guy who tries to open the door.



Perhaps the way your date wipes his face or the way he talks to you on phone or maybe how he shuts the door; some of the simplest things would resemble with the guy you let go. And you know what? you will fall in love again with the guy you date by falling in love with the guy you let go!
